About coaching
What is coaching, and how is it different from therapy?

Coaching is forward-focused and action-oriented. It helps you navigate decisions, build clarity, and create a plan, rather than processing the past in a clinical context. Therapy explores why you feel the way you do; coaching focuses on what to do next. Many of our clients work with both a therapist and a coach simultaneously, and find the two practices complement each other well.

I've never worked with a coach before. What should I expect?

Your first session is about understanding your situation. We'll dicsuss where you are, what's most pressing, and what you're hoping for. We won't rush into a plan until we've listened carefully. Sessions are 60 minutes, conducted by video call, and held weekly or bi-weekly depending on the package you choose.

Is coaching right for me if I'm not sure what I want to do?

Yes! In fact, that's one of the most common places our clients start. You don't need to have made any decisions to benefit from coaching. We often help people gain the clarity they need to make decisions in the first place.

Confidentiality & privacy
How confidential is this?

Completely. Everything discussed in sessions is confidential. We don't share information with third parties, including family members, legal representatives, or employers, without your explicit consent. Our only exception is if we believe there is a risk to your safety or someone else's, which we'd always discuss with you first.

Can my partner, ex-partner, or family member access information about my sessions?

No. Your sessions are yours alone. No information about you is shared with anyone without your written consent.

Practical questions
Where do sessions take place?

All sessions are conducted via secure video call (or in person, if you wish!). This means you can work with us from anywhere in the world, and at times that suit your schedule.

How long is each session, and how often do we meet?

Sessions are 60 minutes. The frequency depends on your package. Typically weekly for intensive support, bi-weekly for ongoing coaching. We'll agree a schedule that works for your life.

How many sessions will I need?

This varies significantly depending on your situation and goals. Some clients work with us for 6-8 weeks; others benefit from longer-term support across a transition that spans months. We'll discuss this honestly in your consultation.

What is the cancellation policy?

Sessions can be rescheduled with 48 hour notice at no charge. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice are charged at 50% of the session fee.

Getting started
What happens in the free consultation?

It's a 30-minute call with Gabrielle. She'll ask you about your situation, what you're hoping to achieve, and how you work best. You'll also have time to ask anything you'd like to know about the process. At the end, if coaching feels like the right fit, she'll recommend the best package for your needs. There's no obligation to continue.

Do you work with men?

Yes. While many of our clients are women, we work with anyone navigating a significant relationship transition, regardless of gender.

Do you work with same-sex couples or non-traditional relationships?

Absolutely. Our approach is built around your specific situation. The form of the relationship doesn't change how we work.

Do you work with friendships or familial relationships?

Yes! We can support you in navigating the end of any relationship. The form of the relationship doesn't change how we work.
